From Putnam City High School to serving patients as a healthcare professional - to leading in organizations across OKC - Chaunte's life has been rooted in service. Inspired by her grandmother, a community and civic leader, she grew up with an example of dedication to helping others grow, heal, and succeed.

Chaunté is a proud graduate of Putnam City High School, “The Original.” She continued her education at Oklahoma City Community College, where she earned an Associate's Degree in physical therapy before completing her Bachelor’s in Allied Health at Oklahoma State University. She later earned her Master of Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Mid-America Christian University.

As a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant, Chaunté's career is centered upon helping others heal and thrive. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served on the frontlines, providing care to patients during one of our most challenging times. Her work has given her firsthand insight into the gaps in our system and fuels her commitment to making Oklahoma more accessible, affordable, and effective for all.

Beyond her professional career, Chaunté is deeply involved in the community through numerous leadership roles and civic organizations. She has served as an officer in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, New Leaders Council, Oklahoma City Young Professionals, the Junior League of Oklahoma City, the Greater OKC Urban League Guild, Leadership Oklahoma City, and Oklahoma City Rotary Club 29.
